First of all the legendary journalist, feature host, and television anchorman Bill Harris is here with his son Chris! Chris is a 9 time Emmy Award winner editor, director and following in his dads award winning footsteps (albeit on the other side of the camera). They're here talking about this years "Classy Brassy Christmas" special which Bill started at the Christmas Pops way back in 1986 at WJRT TV (channel 12). Styled after Bill's own life experiences growing up in Boston listening to Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops, it's become a long standing and cherished local tradition. Bill's co host the last few years has been Lisa Marie, the morning voice of CARS 108, hostess with the mostest for a variety of local entertainment staples and big events. She's a veritable "Queen of All Media" having written for local publications, the CARS blog posts, fashion blogs and magazines, on air TV talent, and of course the luxurious voice behind the mic at CARS and other stations around the country. Then for our third segment we have something really special! We're joined by the dulcet tones of the King of 1470 WFNT Flint's News Talk Radio, the one and only Dan Foley. He hosts The Value Conection/Seize The Deal on WFNT and is the happy voice on so many great commercials, he's also the Grand Pappy of Fish and The Flint Chronicles! Also in The Aquarium is Pastor Mike Gatewood. Mike's redemption story was one of the most popular of 2022 so we asked him to come back and tell it again! He really did find a new direction in life by hanging out with the scions' of one of the founding "Five Families' of the American La Cosa Nostra, or American Mafia- the Gambino Family, specifically the heir to the original Gambino founder Carlo Gabmino, and Mob Don John Gotti's brother. It's an unbelievable and completely unforgettable story, and it led to Mike's current occupation as a pastor in the T.D. Jakes organization out in Denver, Colorado. To that end, Mike offers up a fantastic prayer for Flint and Genesee County for 2023. Following that our pal, attorney and long time Flintstone musician Glen Sinninger, takes us out with a lovely version of Silent Night. It's an altogether awesome ending to another fantastic year of Fish and The Flint Chronicles. We'll be back in 2023 with more incredible people and storytelling.
