The notion that you just might be on your own when it comes to basic and generally accepted conveniences and protections of modern life have hit many in the face like a cold burst of February air. How should one best prepare for the unthinkable?
To explore this situation, we turned to show regular, attorney Rick Hetherington, former Flint Police Veteran, and author Boyd Craven. Boyd writes post-apocalyptic novels, and is an expert on the fine art of ‘Prepping’, as in prepping for disaster. Don’t call him a survivalist, because that’s an entirely different thing, as it turns out. He’ll educate us on the distinction, and between him and Rick you’ll get a better idea of what you can do right now, if you think you might need to be your own back-up plan.
