Holly Gilmore, Escape Salon
Ed Barbieri, Da Eduardo North restaurant

July 15, 2020
The Covid shut downs have been wreaking havoc on Michigan small businesses. By far the hardest hit businesses have been in the personal services sector, and among then are gyms, bars, restaurants hair salon's, barbers and spas. To help us understand what's happening we had conversations with two of the area's small business leaders Ed Barbieri, owner of Da Edorado North in Grand Blanc, and Holly Gilmour owner of the Escape Salon and Spa in Flint. Their insight and experiences will shed a lot of light on what's happening economically and culturally within the small business community.
