ShowsShawn Cronin
National Hockey League June 28, 2023 Shawn played in the National Hockey League for 7 seasons and scored the very first playoff goal in team history for the San Jose Sharks. Known as “Cronin The Barbarian” he was a team protector and enforcer supreme for four teams in his career. He grew up and played sports in Flushing, and attended Flushing High School. As a top tier hockey talent he participated in travel hockey and so didn’t play for the Flushing in hockey. But he DID play tennis for the Raiders. Now that’s a combination you never see: NHL Ice Enforcer, and smooth team tennis player! He’s in the Aquarium with Fish today to talk hockey, fights, getting inducted into the Greater Flint Area Sports Hall of Fame, and maybe even a little tennis!
