Phil Shaltz
Developer, Investor, Entrepreneur, Philanthropist
Uptown Developments
February 27, 2019
Fish talks to Phil Shaltz about his part in the revitalization of Downtown Flint, his partnership in Uptown Developments, and the motivation behind his passion for his hometown.  They discuss the birth and early days of Uptown Developments, and the many accomplishments it has under its belt so far.  Phil explains the eye-opening reason behind the charity that he and his wife founded, The Flint Diaper Bank, and the million diapers they distribute annually to folks who need them most, as well as the mysterious billboard campaign, "I'm Concerned About the Blueberries", and the high-minded message behind it.  If that's not enough, he discusses his role as an Executive Producer in the film business. His recently completed movie features Vince Vaughan, and the new one stars Academy Award winner Viola Davis. Phil is a guy who has genuinely and truly kept faith with his hometown!

As always, time is too short, and there is too much to talk about!
