Bill Harris & McFarlan Park - News Anchor, On Air Personality, Community Leader
March 15, 2023
Bill Harris is back in The Aquarium! Most listeners know Bill as  a legendary figure in Flint and Genesee County. His 47 years of broadcasting excellence precedes him, and includes his  creation of “The Classy Brassy Christmas” special, and too many other seminal stories, specials and moments to name here.

But now he’s engaged in a project that might parallel all of those for importance and impact. Bill is helping to revitalize Flint’s historic McFarlan Park. The park which stands directly in front of The Durant and across the street from the University of Michigan’s Northbank Center is dedicated to the veterans from Genesee County who served and sacrificed their lives for the United States of America. As a plaque in the park so appropriately states “All gave some. But some gave all.”

Bill is definitely one of those terrific volunteers helping to preserve and enhance this incredible community location, and he is in the house today with Fish telling us all about it- and how you can get involved or donate to help out.
